our stay in bergland was amazing, but aj's lodge and oven exceeded all expectations! the lake view was breathtaking, and the owners were so accommodating. the new restaurant and bar with the lakefront porch was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

We had a perfect 3-day holiday weekend at Aj'S Lodge And Oven. The resort has a great location on the lake, near town, and near the Porkies. We spent a lot of time sitting on the dock chairs, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful Christmas getaway at this lodge! The room we stayed in had excellent views of the lake, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the amazing scenery. The staff provided us with terrific advice on fishing spots and nearby attractions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the location of the lodge was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and the nearby Porcupine Mountains.

The blind on one of the windows in our room was broken, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the room was a little tight and we had to move the microwave in order to open the door.

During my recent stay at Aj'S Lodge And Oven, I was delighted by the beautiful view of the lake right from my room. The location was perfect for a tranquil getaway. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the privacy of the corner unit. Renting a pontoon boat for a day of fishing was definitely a highlight of my stay. The owners, Mary Beth and Jim, were hospitable and attentive, making sure that every detail was taken care of. Mary Beth even provided excellent tips on local waterfall hikes. my return to Gogebic after 30 years was nice.

The vintage rooms have new comfy beds and linens. The lake view is amazing, like a postcard of pristine beauty. The family who run it work hard to accommodate guests. The new restaurant and bar with a porch overlooking the lake is worth a visit. Great location on Gogebic lake.

I had a wonderful stay at AJ's Walleye Lodge for a weekend getaway. The vintage rooms were cozy with comfortable beds and nice linens. But the real highlight was the breathtaking lake view, like living in a picture postcard of Northern beauty. The family who run the lodge were incredibly accommodating and even upgraded us to a little apartment with a kitchen and dining area. The new restaurant and bar with its huge porch overlooking the lake was a fantastic addition, and the food prepared by Jim was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit to the Upper Peninsula!

The beautiful lake location was perfect for us, as we enjoyed spending time outdoors. The separate bar/restaurant building with a wrap-around deck was a lovely spot to relax and socialize with locals and other travelers. The upgrade to a suite with a kitchen and dining area was a pleasant surprise, even though we didn't use it. it was a nice and relaxing experience.
